Challenge Sunday #10

STRETCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... YYYYYAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!! Oh I am tired today!!! LOL Thank goodness tomorrow is a stat holiday.... Sometimes it's good to just be lazy..... doncha love days like that????

This weeks challenges are COLOUR based.... ENJOY!

1. Pink, Green and Orange

2. Blue, White and Green

3. Red, Pink and White

4. Orange, Black and White (maybe a hint of purple...lol)

5. Purple, Brown and Black

Anything goes.... cards, lo's, altered art, but you must have 5 different projects with these are the ONLY colours. Some are trickier that others.... may have to mix and match your stash... or you may have that perfect PP...lol

A RAK sent to the FIRST person to complete all 5 of these challenges (and the second person will get a lil something too..lol) My Raks are worth the creations...hint hint... Please e-mail me with a link to your projects!!!

Saturday Findings/Chicken Pox

Sorry I was MIA this week, I have been dealing with chicken pox in my house. My girls returned from the camp ground, and my oldest Alexa had small bumps on her. Assuming they were bug bites, we carried on as per normal. Well Lexa woke up the next morning with a whole wack more of the "bug bites" and the realization hit us. Then Angelina woke up the next day with all kinds of little bumps.... CRAP.. CHICKEN POX!

We were confused as the girls have both been vaccinated, and the bumps didn't present as normal chicken pox. They never blistered, no fever from either girl, no icky sickies, just bumps that look like they'd come to a head any minute but never did. They are itchy as all heck for them though. So after chatting with the docs that I work with, it was clarified... be warned, your kids can still get chicken pox if they have received the vaccination. They say only a 10% chance, but both my girls, my nephew, and other friends kids have all gotten it... Me thinks there is more than a 10% chance...lol Anyways, god luv aveno oatmeal baths, calamine parties (I had to get painted with them..lol) and good ole Benadryl. Life makes sense once again!! LOL

Who needs to scrap when you have BIG FISH

BIG FISH games that is... LMAO


So I am a mahjong junkie to begin with and have really been getting somewhat tired of it lately. So yesturday I am on BIG FISH GAMES and come across this game called AZADA. It's a huge puzzle game that enables you to figure out mini puzzles to get past each chapter of this magical book that solves the grand puzzle. I am on Chapter 3 (I'm not too sure how many chapters there are to go) but I am loving it...LOL It's like opening up a huge variety puzzle book (which I love) and just going page to page. If you like puzzle games this one is good... kids and adults alike will enjoy it... now in saying that.. kindly let me remind you I have alot more kid in me than I do adult.. TEEHEE


So I guess I am seeing a puzzle scrap page in my future... lord knows I have to light this fire of creativity under my arse sooner or later... the stash is still looking the same...lol maybe if I cut up my patern paper and try to make it in a puzzle.. I'll find my mojo... (insert roll eyes right here)

Good morning... I thought I'd mix it up this week with the challenges... Hope you have time to scrap!!!

CHALLENGE #1
Do a black and white LO/Card... this is open to your own interpretation (be it a black and white photo or using black and white products )

Journal on a tag... I know you have tons of them in your stash.... try using them up by journalling the theme of your LO/Card

Create a linear LO/Card... straight lines, clean and crisp

I BROKE MY ASS

No word of a lie. I fell down the stairs and badly bruised/cracked my tailbone. freakin hurts like a biotch!!!! So here I sit on my doughnut, taking my happy drugs, praying this will heal quickly.. I feel like such an arse..... Will this summer get any better already??

Challenge Sunday #9

So it appears that many people are on an ELSIE kick right now... and why not.. the gal is classy, funky, hip, ecelectic, and down right talented.. So this weeks challenges are based on her book "52 Challenges". I will eventually be posting all of them as the challenge weeks go by, but today you get 5 to pick from.

HAVE FUN!

1 - FOCUS ON ONE PHOTO
Convert a fave pic into a black and white image and then use it as a focal point on your page.

2 - CREATE A RIBBON CLUSTER
Grab a few ribbons and cluster them together on your page.. you can attach them to CS, secure them with a pin, use ribbon slides.. anything!

3 - DOODLE ON A PHOTO
Whether it's with your own handwriting, or a doodle rub-on, find that open space on your photo and doodle away..lol

4 - MAKE YOUR OWN PATTERN PAPER
Try making your own pp by stamping or painting or anything you can think of... then scrap it.

5 - DESIGN WITH WHITE CARDSTOCK
Use white as your background, and go from there..

Saturday Findings

YYYYAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNN and STRETCH! Hard to get moving this morning..lol even after two big cups of java. Well I am taking some time to check things out and hopefully this will bring some of my mojo back...LOL I am hoping to do some more organizing and cleaning of my scrap area today! Making some mini kits... I also ordered some pictures thru Costco last night... maybe some new stuff if just what the scrap healer ordered..LMAO
