Who needs to scrap when you have BIG FISH

BIG FISH games that is... LMAO


So I am a mahjong junkie to begin with and have really been getting somewhat tired of it lately. So yesturday I am on BIG FISH GAMES and come across this game called AZADA. It's a huge puzzle game that enables you to figure out mini puzzles to get past each chapter of this magical book that solves the grand puzzle. I am on Chapter 3 (I'm not too sure how many chapters there are to go) but I am loving it...LOL It's like opening up a huge variety puzzle book (which I love) and just going page to page. If you like puzzle games this one is good... kids and adults alike will enjoy it... now in saying that.. kindly let me remind you I have alot more kid in me than I do adult.. TEEHEE


So I guess I am seeing a puzzle scrap page in my future... lord knows I have to light this fire of creativity under my arse sooner or later... the stash is still looking the same...lol maybe if I cut up my patern paper and try to make it in a puzzle.. I'll find my mojo... (insert roll eyes right here)

Good morning... I thought I'd mix it up this week with the challenges... Hope you have time to scrap!!!

CHALLENGE #1
Do a black and white LO/Card... this is open to your own interpretation (be it a black and white photo or using black and white products )

CHALLENGE #2
Journal on a tag... I know you have tons of them in your stash.... try using them up by journalling the theme of your LO/Card

Create a linear LO/Card... straight lines, clean and crisp

Use Queen & Coy products on your LO/Card

I love Saturday's.. I get so caught up on the world while enjoying my fave brew of java... Considering I am doing this with a broke bum, and I can't do anything but stay in one place, my entry should be so long today... sit back and enjoy!! :)

I BROKE MY ASS

No word of a lie. I fell down the stairs and badly bruised/cracked my tailbone. freakin hurts like a biotch!!!! So here I sit on my doughnut, taking my happy drugs, praying this will heal quickly.. I feel like such an arse..... Will this summer get any better already??

Challenge Sunday #9

So it appears that many people are on an ELSIE kick right now... and why not.. the gal is classy, funky, hip, ecelectic, and down right talented.. So this weeks challenges are based on her book "52 Challenges". I will eventually be posting all of them as the challenge weeks go by, but today you get 5 to pick from.

HAVE FUN!

1 - FOCUS ON ONE PHOTO
Convert a fave pic into a black and white image and then use it as a focal point on your page.

2 - CREATE A RIBBON CLUSTER
Grab a few ribbons and cluster them together on your page.. you can attach them to CS, secure them with a pin, use ribbon slides.. anything!

3 - DOODLE ON A PHOTO
Whether it's with your own handwriting, or a doodle rub-on, find that open space on your photo and doodle away..lol

4 - MAKE YOUR OWN PATTERN PAPER
Try making your own pp by stamping or painting or anything you can think of... then scrap it.

5 - DESIGN WITH WHITE CARDSTOCK
Use white as your background, and go from there..

Saturday Findings

YYYYAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNN and STRETCH! Hard to get moving this morning..lol even after two big cups of java. Well I am taking some time to check things out and hopefully this will bring some of my mojo back...LOL I am hoping to do some more organizing and cleaning of my scrap area today! Making some mini kits... I also ordered some pictures thru Costco last night... maybe some new stuff if just what the scrap healer ordered..LMAO

So UnInspired

Have you gone thru this? I have tried going thru my stash... seeking out my challenges.... LO's to scraplift... NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! Nothing is inspiring me. I had the opportunity to scrap this past weekend and I ended up jumping from one project to another... mini album.....LOs.. you name it. Nothing is working!!!! I have spoken to a few of my friends and family and I feel so bored with scrapping lately. SACRELIG... did I seriously just say that????

Well the summer hasn't been all that great and I guess that may be feeding into the lack of inspiration... Funny.. cause scrapping normally cheers me up!!!

Maybe it's just a bad rut!!! Tell me I am not alone!

Harry Potter is weird/Let's talk Kits

So since my boy has been down I have taken an avid interest in Harry Potter. I mean I saw the first movie when it came out, thought it was ok and haven't seen any of the others. Well with this whole fiasco of the latest book coming out and the 5th movie in the theatres, I decided to try and take an interest in it again, as it doesn't only really intrigue Cody.. but my girls are also going nutso over it. I have come to the conclusion thay Mr HP is right weird....LOL I never was into fantasy, and never really got the intrigue in it... but these movies have really impressed me. The special effects are wonderful... and while I find myself all too many times wondering what just happened and having my 10 year old have to recap cause I can't get my mind wrapped around it, I would have to give it an absolute thumbs up...lol I have the first book and I think I just may indulge and see if I find it equally entertaining!!! LOL

That being said... I know that my YAYA Katie had been asking about kits and what ones were good. Well I do get quite a few of them and have been around the block here and there where kits are concerned... Here are few things I am expecting at my door this month... CAN'T WAIT!

I am also a fan of Willow Traders, who has a listing of all kits, and some peoples reviews etc. Christina also does a Kit of the Month, and New Kit on the Block. Mondays are coys advertising days! HAPPY RETIREMENT MOM

So MOM IS OFFICIALLY RETIRED!!!!! I can't believe it and must say I am so happy and excited for her. She is going to have the time of her life, puttering around and doing the things that she has wanted to do for some time now. Make the most of it mom... you are on your own time now and I hope you are showered with all the happiness you deserve!!!!!! I love you!



I ended up going to Endless Memories and enjoyed their amazing Xmas in July sale. I picked up an Elsie Album, a few sheets of PP, some other odds and ends and only ended up spending $15. Considering I am in the UYS club... I figured that was even pushing it. I am hoping to get some scrapping done this weekend... and watch a few movies with my family!
