Good morning everyone... well seeing as I missed my Saturday findings I thought I'd post it today with my challenges. I don't think we are going to the strawberry fields as planned or the IMAX today... we are all exhausted from our big day at Omega yesturday (we stayed much longer than planned as everyone was having a blast), so today we'll putter around the house, relax and just enjoy our day. At HOME..lol

Gonna be a busy weekend

Not too much time for surfing this morning. While I still am sipping on my coffee, and still going thru my e-mails, I have a sense of rush rush this morning. We are going to Omega Park today for a fun adventure and picnic and my girls are going bananas...lol Tomorrow we are strawberry picking, and taking in a show at the IMAX! It's going to be fun and the weather promises to be agreeable.

Mental Health Day

Doncha love these... have you ever taken one.

Yesturday afternoon as I was plugging away on my computer at work prepping for a few of the activities that I have been put in charge of, I made a decision.... I was as caught up as I could of been for that time, I had to wait until Thursday to carry on with planning.... I WAS TAKING A MENTAL HEALTH DAY...lol I turned to my boss and asked him if it was okay, submitted my leave pass, and here I am. AAAAAHHH it's wonderful!

My evening went great knowing I didn't have to get up at 0530... and this morning I dragged my lazy arse out of bed at 1030. Now I am sipping my coffee, watching Montel Williams and surfing away...

This is the life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

To my dad!!! I love you, and am glad we are spending the day together as a family. Be there soon..lol

To my handsome, smart sexy hubby John. He is more than any girl can ask for.... and I am thankful everyday for him. He is an awesome daddy to our kids and that was tested when I went away for 6 months. His patience and dedication to our family amaze each and every day. He is a wonderful husband who every now and then still surprises me with little trinkets and flowers. He always takes care of me when I am am sick, and celebrates with me when big things happen in our lives. He encourages me to be the best I can be, and gives me time to study for my career progression, and gives me time to be creative in my hobbies. I often say that I struck gold the day i married him... truer words have never been spoken.

I know we aren't celebrating this weekend, but next weekend it's all about you babies. I love you more and more every day!!

Saturday Findings

Good morning everyone. Here is sit with my cup of java (arabian organice beans..yum yum yum) and going thru my e-mails and catching up on all my gossip and scrap stuff. I am a bit fuzzy headed this morning as I enjoyed a few coolers last night outside with the neighbours. Didn't wake up until my brother called me at 0900..lol


I have been such a good girl this week with my eating and exercise. I did a total of 20km this week in exercise and all of it outdoors. I power walked, ran, and did a rucksack march. It felt so good...lol However, I got a little brave with the pilates ball and did a bunch of ab crunches and I guess my posture wasn't what it should of been as I am having one heck of a time around today. My back is just killing me... What is that old saying... NO PAIN NO GAIN.. I think they are on crack!! LOL

So on with the findings........

Toddler destroys Buddhist sand painting
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (UPI) -- An unattended toddler destroyed a sand painting that Tibetan monks had spent two days creating on the floor of Union Station in Kansas City, Mo. The Kansas City Star said the monks "simply smiled and started over." "It teaches us that nothing is permanent," said Staci Olsen, a volunteer at the Rime Buddhist Center in Kansas City. Security cameras captured the little boy dancing on top of the intricate design Tuesday while his mother was in the post office inside Union Station. A security manager said the woman did not report the incident. "She summarily picked the child up and boogied," said Bob Smock. Panty thief caught in Fort Collins, Colo.
DENVER (UPI) -- A man has been arrested in Fort Collins, Colo., for allegedly stealing more than 1,300 pieces of women's clothing from laundry facilities. Chih Hsien Wu has been placed at the scene of numerous panty thefts near Colorado State University, Denver's KMGH-TV reported Sunday. Fort Collins police are calling for any women who have noticed their undergarments missing to come into the station and identify their lost panties, bras and pantyhose. Police want more victims to come forward to solidify their case. One woman said, after sorting through the items police had taken as evidence, that Wu stole at least 10 pairs of her panties. She said she had seen Wu in her laundry room. "He was in the laundry room when I came back to switch my clothes from the washer to the dryer," said CSU senior Christina Watanuki. "He just kept his head down and wouldn't move, so I kind of had to scoot around him and I thought that was kinda weird. I didn't notice until later that all my undergarments were missing." Saturday Findings

I tell you ... I am loving my laptop!!!! I get more work done, more surfin happenin, and still am able to give my attention to my kids. I think while they play outside today, after I have pushed them around for an hour in their wagon, I will sit outside with my ice tea, and maybe even scrap.. defienantly will surf...lol

Organic Vegetables
The other day, it was my turn to prepare dinner, so I asked my wife to go over to the local market and buy some organic vegetables. She came back rather upset. When I asked her what was wrong, she said, "I don't think I like that produce guy. I went and looked around for your organic vegetables and I couldn't find any. So I asked him where the organic vegetables were." "He didn't know what I was talking about, so I said, 'These vegetables are for my husband. Have they been sprayed with any poisonous chemicals?'" "And he said, 'No, ma'am. You'll have to do that yourself.'"

SOAP ALERT - It is true I am a Young anf the Restless Junkie...lol Here is a peek of what has happened and what will happen.. LOL

YOUNG AND RESTLESS: Plum enters the boutique and introduces himself to Lauren as Amber's cousin. Plum later tells Amber that he wants her back. Victoria informs Nikki that she and Brad are divorcing and that she has begun seeing J.T. J.T. realizes Victoria is pregnant. Phyllis returns home to pick up belongings for her stay at Jack's. She has another vision of a "maimed" Nick asking her where she's been. She tells him that she knows he's not real, but she can't live in the house if it's going to be haunted by him. Nikki thanks David for his guidance in her campaign. Nikki receives a call from the search team, which reports that wreckage from the Newman jet was found at the bottom of Lake Michigan. As Nikki breaks down, David leans over and kisses her. William tells Gloria that he has solved the Jabot case. He says that he knows she is the guilty party -- he has an exact DNA match from the hair samples he took from her. This weekend I had the time of my life with a group of my closest friends. We went to NAVCAN in Cornwall ON, to scrap, relax and just to enjoy eachothers company. I had a few wobbly pops, swam, and scrapped my arse off.... VERY FUN!

2. Tell us what are your plans will be for the month of June

Not too much actually. Definantely scrap more, and spend more time outdoors playing with my family. We were thinking of going to Omega Park to check out the wildlife.

3. Post your favorite Quote

6 Summer Resolutions

1 - More time with my babies... with all the nice weather we have been having I wan to spend more time touching base ith my iner child. Meaning if I have to run thru the sprinkler then I will...lol More time going to the park and the pools too.

2 - BBQ more. We just indulged in a great BBQ and have made an agreement to enjoy it more. Food always tastes better when it has been BBQ'd, not to mention healthier.

3 - Exercise more. seeing as I am given the time to do it.. I really should participate more.

4 - Quit smoking... yes I smoke and haven't quit since I have been home from Alert. It is way beyond time that I do...LOL

5 - More one on one dating with DH. Since having our kids we have put all the focus on them. It's time to start lighting that fire again!

6 - Last but not least.. SCRAP SCRAP SCRAP!! LOL
